Larry Schafran is a private investor with interests in “disruptive” technologies. He recently co-founded a new oil/gas recovery company (Legacy Oil, Inc.) that “adopts” stranded, orphaned and/or marginal oil/gas wells. He is certified as a Sarbanes-Oxley “financial expert” and currently serves as a Director of Wright Investors’ Service Holdings, Inc. (WISH) and Glasstech, Inc.

Mr. Schafran is a former Director of COPsync, Inc. (COYN), VerifyMe, Inc. (VRME), Cupcake Digital, Inc., SecureAlert Inc. and numerous other companies. He served as a Director and Member of the Strategic Planning and Finance Committees at COMSAT Corporation, where he promoted the merger of COMSAT into Lockheed Martin.

Prior to his immersion in the world of corporate governance, dispute resolution, and complex litigation, Mr. Schafran was a Vice-President of Victor Palmieri and Company Incorporated, with responsibility for negotiating the disposition of all of Penn Central’s major real estate holdings in New York and New Jersey. Mr. Schafran holds BBA and MBA degrees from the University of Wisconsin, where he was also an Instructor, teaching Corporation Finance and Modern Corporate Problems.
